My 3D visualization skill can help in production by allowing for a better understanding of the set design and layout before physically building it. This can save time and cost by catching any potential issues or design flaws beforehand, rather than discovering them during the construction phase. It also allows for easy experimentation with different design elements, such as lighting and camera angles, without the need for costly physical mock-ups. Additionally, 3D visualization can help with communication among the production team by providing a clear and detailed representation of the set design that can be easily shared and discussed. This can help with coordination and streamline the production process.

Simple 3d set-up with Sketchup help visualizing problems before building the real set .
The agency proposed building an art gallery-like space for the EP campaign shoot. However, I felt something was not quite right, so I used Sketch-Up to roughly build the set based on the idea of the Creative Director. I also staged the "models" within the space to visualize the relationship between the models and the paintings on the "gallery" wall. I showed the Creative Director the focal length of the camera, scene layers and overall depth of the scenes ,size and proportion of the "art" prop, and he was able to visualize the problem and immediately reject his original proposal and redesign another one. 3d helped us a lot on production both before and after .
